Love is in the air at Slimbridge
This spring has seen one of the most exciting and greatly
anticipated sights at the home of the Great Cranes in Slimbridge.
For the first time, two of the cranes have paired up and have been
seen building a nest near the Martin Smith hide at WWT Slimbridge.
Nests mean eggs and the possibility of the first Great Crane chicks
in 400 years being born in the wild on Briish shores.
